About Hillary

Hillary is a bilingual (Spanish–English) Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with the Florida Board of Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Mental Health Counselors. Originally from Puerto Rico, she brings both cultural attunement and clinical depth.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Offering services in both Spanish and English allows her to support individuals from diverse backgrounds in a culturally responsive and affirming way.

Hillary practices from a person‑centered approach, grounded in the belief that each individual is the expert of their own life and that therapy is a space to rediscover strengths and create meaningful change. She cultivates a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and actively engaged in their healing process.
Hillary’s work integrates evidence‑based practices with creative and interactive interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across various developmental stages, including veterans and LGBTQ.
Hillary is passionate about supporting teens and young adults, drawing on integrative counseling methods such as play-based techniques, art and experiential therapy to foster engagement, self-expression, and emotional growth.
